 Theoretical Insights

Professor Cheng delivered an online lecture titled “Application Strategies and Techniques of Single-Channel Endoscopic Annulus Fibrosus Suturing,” detailing the development and clinical significance of the technique and providing participants with a deep, structured understanding.

Professor Changliang Peng presented “Minimally Invasive Solutions for Functional Annulus Fibrosus Repair: Standardized Endoscopic Suturing and Outcome Analysis”, using typical cases to demonstrate standardized procedural steps and analyze long-term outcomes. Professors Jie Zhao and Professor Ji Li also shared their insights on Percutaneous Single-Channel Endoscopic Key-hole Approach for Cervical Radiculopathy and UBE Endoscopic Fusion Techniques and Clinical Applications, respectively, garnering strong interest from attendees.

Experiencing Surgical Excellence

The live surgery observation sessions seamlessly integrated theory and practice. Four high-complexity surgeries were broadcast with expert commentary, allowing participants to experience the precision and artistry of the surgical teams firsthand.

Notable procedures included:

·       Professor Xianglong Zhuo: Lateral Approach Percutaneous Endoscopic Lumbar Discectomy + Annulus Fibrosus Suturing

·       Professor Dongjin Wu: Posterior Approach Percutaneous Endoscopic Lumbar Discectomy + Annulus Fibrosus Suturing

·       Professor Ji Li: UBE Endoscopic Lumbar Decompression + Discectomy + Annulus Fibrosus Suturing

Each surgery highlighted different approaches and techniques, demonstrating proper instrument use, procedural norms, and indications for annulus fibrosus suturing. Professor Cheng Zhang also presented an additional live surgery, further enriching participants’ observational experience. Interactive discussions were vibrant, with attendees raising questions from lectures and surgeries, while expert professors provided detailed, professional guidance.
